The Federal and state program entitled SHARP (Safety Health Awareness and Recognition Program) is a program that encourages communication and cooperation between businesses and government.  It’s purpose is to improve the overall safety policies, procedures, and practices in an industry often plagued with health-related accidents and injuries. Oak Crest’s distinction as a SHARP organization makes it one of 35 businesses in the State of Illinois and the only continuing care retirement community to receive this recognition.
